Improving Tanzania Foundation Mid-Year Yearly Financial Report (1st July 2025 – 30th June 2026)

CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS

1. Women‘s Groups

A total of 2,897 reusable menstrual kits, accompanied with sexual health education, were distributed to students in twenty secondary and primary schools. These kits were made by four women's groups who were paid for their work.

2. Malnourishment program

1. Monthly nourishment support for children mainly under the age of five. The year began with 95 children and finished with 155 children supported from eight mountain villages;

2. Baby formula given to 16 babies under one year old on a monthly basis;

3. Nourishment for 27 HIV+ adults on a monthly basis.

3. Building

1. School Toilets: new (66), and renovated (16) in ten schools

2. Classrooms: new (3) and renovated (9) in five schools

3. Placenta Pits (3) and Incinerators (2) in five Health Clinics

4. School Dormitories: housing 100 plus female secondary school students completed (2) and nearing completion (1)

5. Health Clinic Staff Home (1)

6. Health Clinic Maternity Ward 1)

7. Renovations in four Health Clinics (4)

8. New Health Clinic (1) with two more almost completed.

4. Water (Village and School Water Installation)

The building of 10,000 litre water tanks and infrastructure in nine villages.

5. Solar

Maternity Ward and Delivery Room solar power installations in eighteen village Health Clinics.

6. School Feeding

Lunchtime food provided to over 500 students in Kwizu, Kifinguro, and Vuga schools

7. Health Clinic Equipment

Diagnostic equipment installed in 34 village Health Clinics.

8. Health Insurance

Comprehensive insurance for 65 blind and sight-impaired students at Irente Primary School for the Blind.
