Action and Impact Statement May 2026
1. We paid health insurance for 65 blind and vision impaired students attending Irente Secondary school;
2. We financed the installation of a water pump and piping to irrigate a vegetable garden run by 15 HIV+ villagers in Mtula;
3. We built a waiting area for patients at the Sunga health clinic;

4. We distributed 570 menstrual kits to female students in Masange and Magamba Secondary schools;
5. We built a placenta pit and incinerator at Chumbageni health clinic;
6. We also built two patients’ toilets and one staff toilet at the Chumbageni health clinic;
7. We expanded our malnourishment program by adding the village of Mtae which presented with 16 children. This brings the total number of children on the program to 155 coming from eight villages;

8. We supplied baby formula to 17 babies from six villages:
9. The head teacher of Mkalala Secondary school announced to the student assembly that, with the agreement of all teachers, there will be no more corporal punishment practised in the school. The school has thus complied with our one precondition for undertaking projects in the school. We will now work together with the community and school to aid where needed in furthering the education of the attending 520 students;
10. We gave footballs and netballs to Masange and Magamba Secondary schools and Vuga Primary school;
11. We built 10 toilets for boys at Soni Secondary school.
